timeshare sales?

I went to a meeting for timeshare relief. They told me they were hard to get rid of. It would cost me 2 to 3 thousand to pay them to take it off my hands. To unload it for closing cost. They would buy it from me. timesharerelief.com do me a favor they said ok I know better. closing cost and all that paper work . it can’t be that hard to sell a time share if you dump the price. The buyer should pay cost. they talked about disclouser issues. They made it sound like it would cost a fortune to unload it and be next to impossible. Already did the pay 500 and we’ll list it . So any one sold their timeshare and how did it go?

Not sure about selling, but we bought two weeks on eBay several years ago. It was easy. Their fair market value was about 40% of what they were going for "new". If you buy retail, which generally includes a free trip or television or something, plan on paying 2.5 times their real value.

There is no need to pay Timeshare Relief any money! If you want to dump the timeshare there are plenty of outlets for that! You have http://www.ebay.com and http://www.craigslist.org for starters. If you are looking for professional help I personally had success with http://www.sellmytimesharenow.com and I had a positive experience. If you are looking at donating there a few options out there, you may want to check out http://www.thecharitygroup.com. Either way make sure you discount your timeshare at least 50% of your original purchase price and thoroughly investigate any company you are considering doing business with. Check offer reports, BBB records, Traffic statistics and any other information you can find! Also you should utilize the search engines and type in popular terms relevant to your timeshare and contact top ranked companies that are easy to find.
